Dr. Steward provided a statistical and economic analysis of time records for service technicians in this wage and hour case. The plaintiffs allege they are owed overtime pay for having routinely worked in excess of 40 hours per week. Dr. Steward’s analysis included examining the average hours worked per week estimating the instances in which the plaintiffs could have potentially worked overtime and calculating the dollar value of the potential unpaid overtime. Job logs were used to calculate the hours logged by plaintiffs as they included time spent working and ‘dead time’.
