In this case Dr. Steward provided an analysis of the plaintiff’s economic damages. Mr. Braymiller who was a store manager at Lowe’s claims he has suffered economic damages as a result of his termination. Dr. Steward was retained in this case to provide an analysis of economic damages a labor market study and critique the opposing economic expert’s report. Dr. Steward finds the opposing expert report significantly overstates the plaintiff’s damages and fails to accept conventional economic wisdom which suggests the plaintiff will find reemployment. Dr. Steward concludes that if the plaintiff had performed a sufficient job search he would be expected to have little to no economic damage to his earnings as a result of the cessation of his employment at Lowe’s. Dr. Steward performed a thorough investigation of his employment and educational history to inform the employability analysis.
