In this project the EEOC alleged that the Hispanic management at the company discriminated against African-Americans in both hiring and job placement opportunities. The EEOC statistician purported to found statistically significant disparities in the hiring of African-Americans throughout the company. In addition the EEOC analysis reports to find a discriminatory placement policy of African-Americans. Dr. Steward was retained by defense counsel to analyze these allegations. In contrast to the EEOC Dr. Steward found no such statistical patterns of disparities.
