In this case Dr. Dwight Steward was retained to provide an assessment of the labor market opportunities of the plaintiff after the cessation of his employment as security manager with the defendant in 2004. To perform this analysis Dr. Steward reviewed occupational and industry level data as well as labor market trends. The employment opportunities were in part based on Dr. Steward’s research into the plaintiff’s education employment and earnings history skill set and industry specific knowledge. Dr. Steward also took into account the typical unemployment duration for an individual similar to the plaintiff.
