In this case Dr. Steward was retained to provide an analysis of the economic losses the plaintiff is expected to experience as a result of her termination by Walker County. The plaintiff alleges she was wrongfully terminated from her position as Assistant County Treasurer. In this position the plaintiff processed payroll enrolled new employees answered questions regarding benefits and personnel policies and performed clerical duties. At the time of the report, the plaintiff had not obtained replacement employment since the termination. In Dr. Steward’s analysis calculated her Walker County projected earnings and benefits on her actual historical earnings with the defendant. The plaintiff’s replacement earnings are based on the average salary paid for jobs similar to her previous positions at Walker County. Dr. Steward performed an analysis of average earnings for positions such as Human Resources Assistant Payroll and Timekeeping Clerk and Booking Accounting and Auditing Clerks.
