In this alleged failure-to-promote case Dr. Steward was retained to provide an analysis of the plaintiff’s losses following the cessation of her employment with the City of Austin. In his report Dr. Steward offers two scenarios: one in which the plaintiff had been promoted to Urban Forestry Program Manager at the city of Austin and one in which the plaintiff had retained her employment at the City of Austin. Both scenarios provide calculations of past and future salary losses and lost retirement benefits and take into account the plaintiffs projected earnings based on current employment.
