In this DRAM wrongful death case Dr. Steward was retained to provide an economic damage analysis as well as a critique of the opposing economic experts’ reports. Dr. Steward finds in his critique that one opposing expert report relies upon assumptions neither supported by economic science nor by the facts of the case and utilizes scientifically unsound methodology. The second opposing expert report examined by Dr. Steward uses a faulty personal consumption factor work life expectancy estimate and wage and benefit projection. In his independent analysis of the losses Dr. Steward calculates the lost household services the decedent would have provided to his son.
