Dr. Steward was retained in this case to perform an economic and labor market analysis. Plaintiff has alleged that she had incurred both back and front pay wage losses as a result of the cessation of her employment with defendant. In this case, Dr. Steward provides an analysis of the economic damages allegedly occurring as a result of the cessation of the plaintiff by the defendant. The economic analysis takes into account plaintiff’s post-termination earnings that were higher than her earnings when employed by the defendant. In addition to the fact that plaintiff held jobs where she earned more than her pay rate with the defendant. Also, when plaintiff was unemployed, she was collecting unemployment. Dr. Steward was also asked to perform a labor market analysis. In his analysis he found there was employer demand for individuals with plaintiff’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Dr. Steward testified live at trial in this matter.
