Dr. Steward was asked to provide an evaluation of the opposing expert’s analysis of the economic damages allegedly suffered by plaintiff as a result of the cessation of his residency at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. In this case, Dr. Steward used multiple labor market data sources to study the plaintiff’s current employability and job opportunities. Dr. Steward found that the plaintiff possesses undergraduate, medical and business degrees from top universities and can be expected to excel in any number of clinical, corporate or medical administration job positions. Many of these potential positions have earnings that are comparable to or exceed the earnings suggested by opposing expert’s analysis.
