Dr. Dwight Steward was retained in this case to provide an economic analysis of the economic losses the plaintiff experienced as a result of her not having received promotions while employed by the defendant as well as her eventual termination. Dr. Steward’s calculations include lost wages earnings capacity fringe benefits retirement benefits and additional expenses incurred due to the termination. Dr. Steward analyzed two economic damage scenarios – one which relies upon the plaintiff’s historical earnings compared to her current earnings and one based on projected earnings had she received promotions compared to her current earnings.
